What is Juvéderm Volbella?
Volbella is an injectable filler in the Juvéderm® family. Juvéderm injectables are made with hyaluronic acid, a complex sugar naturally found in your skin and responsible for keeping it hydrated and supple. When dermal fillers are injected into the skin, they provide youthful volume to fill in wrinkles and folds. Dermal fillers can also be used to augment your natural features. For example, Volbella can be used to enhance the lips and fill in fine lines around the mouth (called smoker’s lines).

Liz is an experienced registered nurse with 14 years in the field, including 8 years specializing in aesthetic injections. She graduated with her nursing degree from Georgia State University in 2010 and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Chamberlain University in 2022. Before transitioning into aesthetics, Liz worked in the operating room and in various medical specialties including GI, spine, ortho, neuro, ENT, and facial plastics. She served as a trainer for Evolus, educating healthcare professionals on neurotoxin & filler injections, and was named ‘Best Injector in Atlanta’ by Jezebel magazine for 2024. Liz is currently listed in the ‘Best Aesthetic Injectors in America’ national directory as a recommended provider for the Pensacola area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her golden retriever Bensky. She also enjoys traveling, playing golf, snowboarding, and dancing!
Meet The Team The Treatment Process
Volbella treatments are quick and can be performed within our comfortable office. To begin, our team will discuss your goals and determine whether Volbella is right for you. You’ll also receive an estimate of how much product is required for your ideal results. Once you’re ready, the product will be placed under the skin using a very fine needle. This can be sensitive for some patients, especially in areas like the lips, and we can supply a topical numbing cream as needed. You’ll be able to see instant results with Volbella and can ensure you achieve your desired look before you leave. Afterward, you can return to your normal activities.
Recovery and Results
You can return to your everyday schedule after Volbella, including work. However, you’ll have some restrictions including avoiding rigorous exercise for a few days and hot environments such as saunas or hot tubs. Additionally, avoid rubbing or touching the treatment area for the first 24 hours. It’s normal to experience some redness and sensitivity, especially in the lips, but it can be eased with a covered ice pack. To avoid bruising, don’t take blood-thinning medications such as ibuprofen before or after your procedure.
It can take 1-2 weeks for filler to settle into its final appearance. During this time, any swelling will subside and the product will draw moisture to provide volume. It can be helpful to drink plenty of water during this time. Volbella can last up to 18 months, at which point you can return for your next treatment to maintain results.
