What is Skinvive?
Skinvive by Juvéderm is the first and only hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable to improve skin smoothness of the cheeks. Like other hyaluronic acid fillers, it works by increasing hydration to improve skin smoothness for a glow that can last up to six months with optimal treatment.

Who is a Candidate for Skinvive?
Are you tired of your dull, dry skin and feel that it is in need of glowy hydration? Skinvive by Juvéderm is safe to use for all skin tones and is ideal for those with fine lines, texture, and dehydration concerns in the cheek area. However, as with all skin injection procedures, Skinvive may not be right for everyone. Similarly to other dermal filler injections, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding or who have certain medical conditions, are on medication that can decrease the body’s immune response, have pigmentation disorders, or have a history of excessive scarring may not be ideal candidates. Also, if you have a history of severe allergic reactions, please disclose this information to our team during your consultation.
The Skinvive Treatment
To begin your Skinvive treatment, your skin at the injection site will be cleansed. Next, your provider will skillfully inject the Skinvive using a fine needle. While most patients tolerate this injectable treatment well, Skinvive by Juvéderm contains a small amount of lidocaine to reduce discomfort during injection. Treatment is quick, taking only about 15-20 minutes to complete.

Liz is an experienced registered nurse with 14 years in the field, including 8 years specializing in aesthetic injections. She graduated with her nursing degree from Georgia State University in 2010 and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Chamberlain University in 2022. Before transitioning into aesthetics, Liz worked in the operating room and in various medical specialties including GI, spine, ortho, neuro, ENT, and facial plastics. She served as a trainer for Evolus, educating healthcare professionals on neurotoxin & filler injections, and was named ‘Best Injector in Atlanta’ by Jezebel magazine for 2024. Liz is currently listed in the ‘Best Aesthetic Injectors in America’ national directory as a recommended provider for the Pensacola area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her golden retriever Bensky. She also enjoys traveling, playing golf, snowboarding, and dancing!

Skinvive Results and Recovery
There is no downtime following Skinvive injections, so you can return to your regular activities. As with any dermal filler injection, mild swelling and temporary redness may occur at the treatment site but should resolve with time. We recommend patients minimize strenuous exercise, extensive sun or heat exposure, and alcoholic beverages for the first 24 hours following treatment for best results.
Patients can enjoy improved cheek skin smoothness for up to six months. To maintain results, repeated treatment sessions are required.
