What is Versa?
Revanesse® Versa is a unique, multi-purpose dermal filler. It’s made with hyaluronic acid, a complex sugar naturally found in the body that keeps the skin supple and moisturized. Dermal fillers like Versa can restore lost volume that comes with aging, helping fill in areas with folds or creases. Versa is one of the most effective ways to treat nasolabial folds (or the folds that extend from the nose and around the mouth). The Treatment Process
Versa can be administered during a quick appointment at our Pensacola office. You’ll begin by discussing your goals with our team to determine the best treatment approach and the amount of product needed. Once you’re ready, the product will be placed under the skin using a very fine needle. Our team can supply a topical anesthetic if pain is a concern. You’ll be able to see immediate results and can ensure you’ve achieved your ideal look before leading. Once your session is complete, you can return to your normal daily schedule.
Recovery and Results
It’s normal to have some minor redness and sensitivity after treatment but you can otherwise return to your normal activities. Make sure to avoid intensive exercise for 24 hours afterward as well as hot environments like hot tubs or saunas. Make sure to also avoid rubbing or touching the treatment area. To avoid bruising, stop taking blood-thinning medications before and after treatment.
Fillers normally require 1-2 weeks to settle into their final appearance. Most swelling will also subside by this point, allowing you to judge your final results. Make sure to stay hydrated so the product has plenty of water to bind to. Versa can last for up to one year, at which point you can return for a touch-up appointment to maintain your results.
